    National Accounts: Household Consumption Expenditure

    The first version of a preliminary annual national account for Households final consumption expenditure (HFCE) is published at the end of February the following year. The annual accounts are then revised in March and June, and again in June of the subsequent year. The final national accounts for HFCE are published two and a half years after the reference year.

    Timeliness and time lag - final results

    The quarterly national accounts, which includes Household consumption (HFCE), are first published 50 days after the end of the quarter, with revised quarterly figures published 90 days after the quarter’s end. The first version of a preliminary annual national account for HFCE is published at the end of February the following year. The annual accounts are subsequently revised in March and June, and again in June of the next year. The final national accounts for HFCE are published two and a half years after the reference year.

    Punctuality

    The national accounts, including household consumption, are released in accordance with the established publication schedule.
