User access
Statistics are always published at 8:00 a.m. at the day announced in the release calendar. No one outside of Statistics Denmark can access the statistics before they are published.
News release
The statistics on household consumption are published in Nyt fra Danmarks Statistik as part of the overall National Accounts. The National Accounts include the following series related to HFCE:

Publications
In the period from 1999 to 2011, as well as in 2014, the National Accounts - including household consumption, were published in the publication Nationalregnskab. A large number of National Accounts-related publications can be found in Statistics Denmark’s collection of historical statistics under Historical Statistics, including Statistiske Efterretninger for the period 1983–2022. The statistics are also presented in the ten-year overview, which has been published annually for the period 1964–2024.
On-line database
Household final consumption expenditure is published in StatBank under the subject Economy. The tables covered by this documentation are included in the StatBank category National Accounts - Overall.

Micro-data access
More detailed data are available at a charge. It is possible to obtain data on product balances for household consumption at current and previous year prices, typically as data extracts — for example, a single product balance or the composition of goods within a consumption group.

Other
The national accounts provide table sets for household final consumption expenditure to Eurostat, ensuring that Denmark's national accounts figures are included in the Eurostat database. The figures are also made available via Eurostat to the OECD database.

Confidentiality - data treatment
The primary statistics included in the national accounts are each subject to confidentiality procedures to ensure that individual persons and enterprises cannot be identified. Consequently, no further confidentiality measures are required at the level at which household consumption is published.
