How high is the gross domestic product in the regions and provinces in Denmark? What is the average disposable income? The regional accounts provide a comprehensive picture of the economy in the regions and provinces of Denmark and show, among other things, gross domestic product, employment and income at regional level., Gross Domestic Product (GDP) , Gross domestic product, GDP, indicates the size of a country's economy. GDP can be calculated in three ways:, Gross domestic product (GDP) in market prices is calculated from the production side by subtracting from production at market prices the total value of intermediate consumption at buyer prices., It can also be calculated from the income side as compensation of employees plus the surplus of production and mixed income plus taxes on production, net., Finally it can be calculated from the application side as the sum of all final uses in buyer prices minus the import of goods and services., Gross domestic product by region, The figure shows how the gross domestic product has developed in the five regions of Denmark in the past ten years., In Statbank Denmark, you can find more data on 1-2.1.1 Production, GDP and generation of income (NRHP), More about the figure, Last update, 27.10.2025, Next update, 27.10.2026, Source data, The statistics are mainly based on regional statements of the national accounts' sources., The sources for calculating regional gross value added and gross fixed capital formation are mainly Accounting Statistics for Non-agricultural Private Sector, General Government Finances Statistics. Input-output

How are production, imports, consumption, investment and exports linked in the Danish economy? Input-output tables show connections between industries, imports and final use, and they are used, among other things, for analyses of direct and indirect effects on production, employment, imports and climate footprint., Supply and use , Supply and use show where goods and services come from, and what they are used for. Supply consists of Danish production and imports, while use consists of consumption in production, private and public consumption, investment and exports. For each good and service, supply and use must be in balance., Input-output , Input-output tables show the links between production, imports and uses in the economy. They show, for example, how different industries both supply to and purchase from each other, and how production is delivered to consumption, investment and exports. In this sense, they provide a detailed map of the economy's internal flows. The tables can be used to set up an input-output model, which can calculate how changes in consumption, investment or exports affect production, imports and employment., Multiplier , A multiplier shows the calculated effect of a change in demand. It can, for example, show how much production, imports or employment follows from DKK 1 million extra exports, consumption or investment. Multipliers include both the direct effect in the industries that are first affected and the indirect effects among their subcontractors. A multiplier is a coefficient that one can multiply by the shock to demand in an industry for which one wants to know the consequences., Growth contribution , Growth contributions show how much different parts of demand contribute to economic growth. This can, for example, be contributions from private consumption, public consumption, investment and exports. By means of an input-output model, growth contributions can be corrected for their import content, so that they only show the demand components' contribution to Danish value added., Supply of goods and services, The figure shows how the supply of goods and services to the Danish economy is distributed between deliveries from Danish production, imports and product taxes. The figure, therefore, shows how much of the production is based on domestic and foreign deliveries., In Statbank Denmark, you can find more data on Input-output table. Multipliers are not statistics in the traditional sense but may be termed more correctly as model calculations. As it is not entirely uncomplicated to calculate multipliers, a collection of the most used multipliers are made available for download this way. Consumption and supply of music

How has the development in sales of recorded music progressed? Is most music sold digitally or physically? And how many registered musical works are there? This set of statistics highlights the consumption and supply of recorded music and live music., Recorded music sales, The figure shows the recorded music sales by distribution format, that is, whether the music was sold as downloads, streaming, or physical media., In Statbank Denmark, you can find more data on Revenue from the sale of recorded music (MUSIK1), More about the figure, Last update, 16.6.2025, Next update, 31.8.2026, Source data, The statistics Trade with music rights are based on data from the record companies' trade association (IFPI) and the organizations Koda and Gramex which manages rights payments., Sales of music works are determined as the music companies' total turnover from physical sales, digital downloads and streaming. The numbers are reported to Statistics Denmark by IFPI. IFPI is the international trade association for record companies. Their statistics are generally given high credibility. The nationality of the works is also part of the report from IFPI. Where the composer is domiciled outside Denmark, these are international repertoire. Is the composer based in Denmark, the repertoire is considered to be Danish. It is a requirement that the recordings mainly are carried out by Danish artists or by artists resident in Denmark for the case of Danish repertoire. An album can be described as Danish if at least 75 per cent of the tracks meet the conditions for being Danish repertoire., Payment for the rights to composers and songwriters every time their musical work played in public. These rights are handled by Koda. There are also paid for composer and songwriter rights when the music recorded on CDs, tapes, film, video and other sound carriers. These so-called mechanical rights are handled by the NCB. Gramex represents the rights of the performing artists and the record companies when a work of music is played in public. Finally, the copying of music and the sale of blank media that can subsequently be used for copying, an exercise of rights. These rights are handled by Copydan. The rights payments come from central and authoritative sources. Koda has a state concession to manage music rights and collects information on music played publicly in Denmark. Data is used to calculate the remuneration of the right holders and is assessed to be of high quality., The number of musical works is based on Koda's reports regarding the number of registered musical works. Musical works with at least one right holder that is a member of Koda is included. At this time, it is not possible to distinguish between songs and other forms of musical works. Musical works here include ringtones, advertising music, background music in e.g. films or TV series, and music that has never been published. Data has been corrected retroactively for the period 2000-2015. In 2015, Koda changed its definition of what a Koda piece of music is. Previously, a work was understood to be a Koda work if a majority of the copyright holders were KODA members. Since 2015, all musical works where at least one copyright holder is a member of Koda are considered a Koda work, . In 2015, works that had previously not been considered Koda works were thus included as Koda musical works, which also included musical works from back in time. To handle the definition change, imputation has been made for 2015 based on the number of new Koda works in 2013-2014 and 2016-2017. The difference between the imputed number of new registered musical works in 2015 and the original number of newly registered works due to the definition change has been equally distributed over the years 1926-2014. The time series has been corrected for this change with a recalculation of the number of works back to 2000, which is the first year of the statistics, so that the works between 1926 and 1999 are included for the year 2000., The number of musical authors is calculated on the basis of a special data delivery that contains registered musical works and information about the rights holders.
