Definition
The UN assesses that Denmark meets indicator 16.10.2. i.e. Denmark has adopted and implemented legislative guarantees for public access to information. The assessment is from 2024. Access to information in Denmark is, among other things, guaranteed through various mechanisms, e.g. general access to documents, party rights, special access to information in the following acts: the Public Access Act, the Public Administration Act, the Environmental Information Act and the GDPR.
