By 2030, substantially reduce the number of deaths and illnesses from hazardous chemicals and air, water and soil pollution and contamination.

Definition
The data shows the number of premature deaths per 100,000 inhabitants attributable to air pollution. The National Centre for Environment and Energy (DCE) publishes an annual report with estimates of air quality in Denmark and its health impacts. The majority of premature deaths were linked to exposure to PM2.5 particles.
