Households

A household comprises all persons living at the same address, regardless of their mutual relations. Households are broken down by type (e.g. single man or married couple) and size, i.e. number of persons in the household.

Introduction

The statistics on households contain information on place of residence (region and municipality), type of household (i.e. composition of the household) and size of the household.

Data from the civil registration system (CPR) is the basis of this set of statistics.

The statistics on households are annual and are published at the end of February.
