The register-based labour force statistics (RAS) include employees and self-employed people and can be used to focus on employment in e.g. small groups of people and with detailed background variables.

Employees

Employment statistics for employees give a timely indicator of the total number of employees. The public employment statistics assess the number of full-time-equivalent employees in general government.

Shows how many are commuting between home and work, and how far their commute is.

Unemployed persons

The register-based unemployment statistics show the number of unemployed people and the unemployment rate. The statistics include job-ready recipients of unemployment benefits and job-ready recipients of cash benefits.
