The statistics are based on the national bibliographic record in the Danish Book List. The Danish Library Center delivers data to the statistics via a system-to-system solution. Data is checked for large fluctuations compared to the previous year before the preparation of tables for the statistics bank.

Data validation
Data is validated by the Danish Library Center, which delivers the data. The data is compared with data from previous years. In case of major fluctuations, the Danish Library Center is contacted.
Data compilation
Data are aggregated concerning the tabulation of Statbank tables.
Adjustment
No data corrections are made.
