Trade in environmentally sound technologies
Definition
The purpose of this indicator is to track the total amount of approved funding to promote the development, transfer, dissemination, and diffusion of environmentally sound technologies. The indicator is based on estimates from UN Environment Programme (UNEP). UNEP uses globally available trade data to create a proxy of funding for environmentally sound technologies.
