    Definition

    The indicator is calculated on the basis of Statistics Denmark’s land cover account. The indicator shows the extent of the selected land cover types as a share of the total Danish area. The land cover account is part of Statistics Denmark’s green national accounts, and the indicator is therefore in accordance with the principles of the international environmental accounting manual SEEA 2012 published by the UN, the World Bank, the IMF, the OECD and Eurostat.
