The figure shows how much consumer credit households held outside the banking sector in the most recent quarter. You can also see how large a share of the consumer credit consisted of unsecured loans, as well as loans from petrol companies.

These statistics Consumer credit show the volume and development of consumer credit and credit cards services. With its short production time of 35 days after the end of the quarter, these statistics can serve as a business cycle indicator for credit intermediation in Denmark. These statistics have been compiled since 1999 and are in their current form comparable from 2008 onwards.
