Description:
Land cover is the observed physical and biological cover of the Earth’s surface which include natural vegetation and abiotic (non-living) surfaces.
Land cover is classified based on the UN System of Environmental Economic Accounting (SEEA), adapted to Danish conditions.
This classification has three levels, where BASEMAP03 constitutes the third level.
